Would you rather do a redeye in F (or C in the case of UA) on a PMCO 757-300, PMCO 737-900, or PMUA 757-200 p.s.?

I don't know if the specific 739 has DirecTV retrofitted (if that's a question).

PMUA 752 p.s.. Better seat and better meal, don't care about TV on a redeye flight.

Even Business of PS would be preferable... For a redeye, I might even take Business over First on P.S. since the angle of the lie-flat makes it hard for me to sleep, but that is a personal preference!

P.s. hands down. Int'l C recliner is way better for sleeping than a domestic F seat.

Thanks guys. Sounds like p.s. C is the winner.

Let's make it more interesting. What if it was UA p.s. C vs. AA's 757-200 in F (aka, not their p.s. equivalent)?

AA's 752 has to be, hands down, one of the worst domestic F products in the sky. That's like asking "Emirates First Suite or Spirit Airlines?"

That's still generally a clear call. Assuming AA 752 is domestic configuration, p.s. wins. In general for a redeye the most important factor is the seat. At which point you go into flat bed > international recliner (or p.s. depending on which business product you're talking about) > domestic F.

Thanks guys. I'll hold out hope for space on AA Flagship, otherwise I'll stick with p.s.

Agree with all others UA 757 p.s. either C or F are int'l standard - the other choices are domestic standard

I fly this route about once a month.

For the return, i always do p.s (red eye). Its impossible to sleep on a domestic first seat.

AA Flagship? Are you kidding?. The 3 class transcon is a recliner at best. The flat bed in F, a the former SQ spacebed is not bad

Is this a good thing or bad thing? :) I've never done AA Flagship before.
