Redeemable Miles Cap

    I just got hit with a redeemable miles cap on a U.S. to EU trip.
    Seems inconsistent if you are awarding miles based on $, but then limit the number of miles because the flyer earned too many on a trip.

    That's been the rule from Day 1 of the new program. 75,000 miles max per PNR. This is to avoid a BOGO situation.

    Yes, but I think that is BS too. Think about it I get 75k / flight and most of the time it is AT least 150k one way for business. Unless close to departure the SAVER business and first is now very limited...

    This has not been my experience at all. Maybe I'm a bit more flexible but I've not had too much trouble spotting options where & when I've needed them.

    And even if that were the case a 4:1 ratio is still ridiculously generous.
