    This was my first thought too. Ditto. :) << They thought first for their bottom line profits, then they gave it a new positive spin and now customers, as nearly always believe it, voila they have succeeded in driving costs down, profits up >> The question remains, " Why are customers are so happy to receive fewer and fewer services, despite rising prices " ?

    Personally I think they should invest their time and money into improving the quality of the food. I know that it is a cheap seafood restaurant, but the few times I've tried them they totally sucked.

    Are they lowering prices for counter service? Probably not. Just one more reason for me to not patronize this restaurant.

    Dead Lobster, that is what I call it. There is a reason there are no Red Lobsters in New England outside of 2 in western CT. Because they are horrible.

  12. the table turn is much faster, the labor costs are less and they have the infrastructure to serve two different client groups/ broadening the demographics when they were only getting one before

  14. not unlike Olive Garden, their sister brand, no self respecting Italian food lover would eat there so they can't open in Roma, just like it wouldn't fly opening RL in New England, too much real seafood competition

    Haha Dead Lobster. Thats a good one. The only good fast -food out there is chick fil a & zaxbys.

    This is all well and good, however, they still OVERCOOK the seafood terribly. Until they understand this, they wont be able to get the new clientel they need.

    The only good thing about olive garden is the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks!!! Again, they over cook the pasta..
