I've always planned my own point-burning trips but no longer have the time needed to test, trick and massage routes, maximize hotel nights and compare options to get the best use or value for the points I have earned. I'd like someone else to do that for me. I am currently looking at a NZ/Australia/South Pacific trip using a combination of UA MP, AAdvantage, Marriott, Hilton and Hertz points (and of course, cash).

Can anyone recommend a service or an individual that they have used in the past? I'd love to read about the type of trip they were able to pull together.

There are quite a few people here that do this. Do a search for award booking service and you'll find a few threads.

A few others have been discussed... I remember a few threads myself but I don't think too many people "advertise" the services out in the open, and believe it or not some of them are just as happy sharing their expertise in existing threads (that *A thread in the US forum is an example).

Right off the bat of course gleff comes to mind, and that new Bengali dude and the guys over at upgrd.com, although I'm positive I've seen more.

I used Cranky Concierge for a trip to Geneva and Rome over the summer (using US miles).

Milevalue was looking for a 2nd blogger, so he and Bengali living in the same area made complete sense. Scott's blog is probably the most valuable one I read, so I'm likely to give my business to him when I need to book my first international legacy award. I've only had awards from WN, FL and B6, so the whole award redemption process for long haul flights and non-revenue based programs is foreign (no pun intended) to me.
