    InsideFlyer magazine is reviewing Virgin America Elevate in our February 2014 issue and would like your input.
    If you would like to participate, please post your response in the thread with the pros and cons of membership in Elevate and grade the program from A to F (A being the highest grade). You can include a plus or minus with the rating.

    • Some awesome redemption options (ie NYC-Europe for 12,000 points)
    • Great hard product
    • Revenue-based earning (so frequent flyer who are looking for a good deal are not going to get much return if they don't spend much)
    • Revenue-based elite qualification (you have to spend a dollar amount to get status)
    • No current status match program (they ran a few promos early in the year, but I could not switch right now if I wanted to)
    • Upgrades only available to Main Cabin Select (program would attract many more FFs if they expanded the First Cabin and opened upgrades to First for their 50,000 point level)
    • Lack of ways to earn points (including only a few routes available to fly on - hard to be loyal even if you really wanted to)
