We are presently at the Radisson Blu at Disneyland Paris. The hotel has a shuttle to the park entrances and is about a two mile drive from the entrance. The employees of the hotel are absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately that is about the only good thing at the hotel. We are in a suite that we were given a complimentary upgrade to, due to my Club Carlson gold status. The suite is fairly small and the decor is about as ugly as one can get. The food is absolutely atrocious. Breakfast ends at 10am (a bit early in my opinion), however by 9:30 almost everything is gone. This morning I didn't even eat at the hotel as the food is so bad. I would avoid this hotel and look for another.
I'm concerned about the food. Thanks for the update. Which other hotels are available there in the area?
Thanks for this posting, marcwin55, am I'm sorry to hear this! I've had good experiences in Radisson Blu hotels elsewhere. Perhaps it's not as uncommon to have a small room, ugly décor, and bad food in a Paris hotel?
I've usually had great luck with Radisson Blu, which is the reason I posted this to make others aware of this particular hotel.
There is a Marriott and several of the Disney hotels. I don't know anything about them, but I would certainly try one of them over the Radisson Blu.
Good deal for anyone needing transportation to and from Disneyland Paris. There is an airport bus for 20 euros per person each way and it was very comfortable. It can take between an hour and an hour and a half depending on traffic from Charles DeGaulle.
It goes to five hotels. I do not know if there are any other Disney hotels, but we seemed to stop at each one that I saw while there.
Likewise! Thanks to @marcwint55 for posting this, and also to @Kalboz for letting us know about the Club Carlson point sale yesterday!
