After getting off to a flying start this forum seems to have ground to a halt lately?
I wonder why?
People are out flying
Because it's dull?
Yes, I noticed there isn't much new activity lately. Boo.
I'm feeling a bit alienated by the culture that's formed here since MP moved out of Beta.
I posted a plea for help. The file is still open, so please do feel free to share your views...
In most Forums now there is a huge need for relevant questions more than content IMHO. Most people here have lots of information but need intelligent questions to push things along. In the meantime we can post blind content. We are beyond 12,000 members now so the mass is building fast.
I've got some things weighing on my mind, like Japan; so it's a little hard to come here an get enthusiastic about frequent flyer loyality programs.
Also, we are approaching the end of the first quarter, so....
Haven't a clue what you're on about right enough.
People trying to decide in which neighborhood they want to live.
So it got no better while I was away, then. Not surprised.
Not enough banter
Seems to me that all the USA based CHASE punters have scared off the European contingent.
It just isn't British enough.
The expect the happy clappy, purile state of MP is not going down too well with the British membership. Such environments usually evoke polite abstinence in British culture hence the arid character of this forum.
I have noticed that it seems to have become less "happy clappy" over the past few weeks. Still too much noise for me here...
What would it take to improve things then?
I could post about my BA LHR-SFO using an AA systemwide this week.
I simply don't have the time to post on multiple forums, and FlyerTalk still wins for me. I guess I'll look in here now and again...
Is seems like quite a few are SFO oriented
