Question about earning Southwest points for Hyatt stay

    No clue. But I bet you could get Southwest to honor the 750 number - it is on their website, after all, and I think they'd make good on the promise even if Hyatt only sends over 600 on the first attempt. Giving out 150 miles here and there is well within the discretion of most phone agents.

    Do give some thought to collecting the HGP points instead - I find them useful and valuable.

    I LOVE HGP pts...but for 1 night stays (especially on a C&P rate), I will sometimes choose Southwest pts instead.

    Just thought I'd come back and post an update. Looks like SW has updated the language on each of the hotel pages to say that you get 600 pts from Hyatt and an additional 150 pts if you book the reservation through Southwest.
