    Qatar to increase Italian frequencies:)

Qatar Airways is set to increase frequencies on both its Rome and Milan routes towards the end of this year.
Rome is currently served nonstop daily from Doha, but this will increase to twice daily from December 1, with a new lunchtime departure from Doha (1315), and an evening service from Rome (2220).

Then from January 1, 2012, Qatar Airways will add four further weekly flights to its existing daily service, departing on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The new services to both Italian cities will be operated by A320 aircraft, as opposed to the A330s used on existing flights.

QR is an excellent option from Italy to Australasia.

I went from an in frequent travller to QR elite member this year- all traffic that used to go to Lufthansa. The business class they have on longhaul to asia is very good, as is the premimum terminal at Doha.
