Qatar Airways starting Benghazi services November 1:)

Qatar Airways is leading the Gulf charge into post-Gaddafi Libya by announcing four-a-week flights between Doha and Benghazi from November 1.

Services into Libya's second largest city will be operated by two-class A320s, with 12 first class seats and 132 in economy.

The airline said its flights to Tripoli, launched eight years ago, remain suspended but are expected to resume "soon".
Etihad Airways is also looking to start services to Tripoli soon too (click here), although Emirates said its services to the Libyan capital remain suspended.
