Since I removed my similar post, I'll 'transfer' my comment here. I remember something similar, but was an A380 and RJ, happened in NY.

"A380s and 747s are so big that even a glancing blow while under tow can be enough to keep a damaged plane out of service"

I would sure think that even a "glancing blow while under tow" of a CRJ and a CR7 would likely cause enough damage to take the planes out of service.

An AF380 wing clipped a DL RJ tail at JFK. The RJ was spun 90 degrees.

Thankfully, there were no major injuries.

I was in another DL 752 at JFK when that collision happened. The pilot and crew didn't tell us what was up while we sat for a couple hours but the emergency vehicles flying around made it clear something happened.
