A quick tip of the hat to FlyingOnceMore on Flyertalk who seems to have found the promo page for Q1.

    More details at:
    https://www.hiltonhhonors.com/pyo/q12012/MoreNights2012.aspx

Basically you are looking at 1,000 bonus points per night and 5,000 bonus points for a weekend stay of at least 2 nights between Thursday and Sunday)

The promo period is between 1st Jan and 31st March 2012.

The list of non-participating properties is here:
    http://hhonors1.hilton.com/en_US/hh/landing/excluded_hotels_q1/index.do

Less non-participating hotels on this promo, but still quite a few in the United States in particular.

    Thanks !

Combine this one with the 40k Visa one, stay four weekends and you wind up with at least 60k points, worth maybe something like $300 to $400.

I am most happy with this, and it's even mattress run friendly. :)

I signed-up via Firefox yesterday. Just tried the landing page again now and had the same issue with the sign-in button not working. No confirmation email for me though, so just tried again via IE to be sure and it confirmed I was already registered.

Hilton's IT really is a joy sometimes...

overall a weak promo. while 1000 points may seem like a something, in reality, looking on how devalued HHonors points are, its really nothing. weekend award does make sense however.
my strategy, based on current promotion details from major hotel chains is to use hilton on weekend nights, starwood for weekday stays of 3 nights, and put marriott one night stays somewhere in between.

I'm okay with the promo since I'm doing the Diamond status run early this year. Booked a couple mattress hopping trips for business and getting an extra 7k points due to the whole "1k per stay" verbiage. It's not a ton of points but better than nothing!

I just spent 6 nights in the Doubletree in Baton Rouge and when the points came through I got the 1000 per night for all 6 nights plus the 5000 since it was over a weekend. I didn't read the fine print prior but I was figuring I'd only get one and not both so that was a nice surprise. To make it even better the hotel itself (new as a Doubletree) had a double points deal of their own I didn't know about so I got 2x base points + Gold Bonus + 6000 promo + 5000 promo :)

How long is it taking to get the Q1 bonus points after you get the initial ones? I saw that my first night points came in, but didnt see the extra 1k...

Mine already came in when my points posted with my stay. This is how the line item looks:
    "2012 Q1 SYSTEMWIDE OFFER - 1K POINTS - Hotel XXXXXX"

You might want to make sure that you're not staying at one of the non-participating hotels. The OP posted the link to the list.
