Pullman Deira City Centre Dubai targets October opening

Pullman Deira City Centre Dubai is targeting a July soft opening and full opening in the third quarter.
General manager Laurent Noury gave Business Traveller Middle East an exclusive tour of the centrally located property this week.

The interiors have a distinctive Pullman feel, with lots of dark woods and white fittings, and floors alternate between a green or purple theme.

The renovation of the former City Centre Hotel, which started in April 2011, is nearing completion with the last of the 317 rooms due to be finished early May.

Thereafter, work will be carried out on the lobby, rooftop pool, lifts - which feature the old hotel's light wood - and F&B outlets on the mezzanine floor (all-day dining restaurant and new 'modern' bar spanning two levels, and Le Café will be bigger and serve light lunches). The exterior will also change from white to light brown and feature new signage.
