After a few years of VX, I started flying UA/CO again in Q4 after a job change and got to UA Premier and CO Silver in the respective programs. Today they merged the two and I am United Premier Exec and Continental Gold. Great news for me as I am about to embark on trips to SLC, PDX, and LHR and will get the 100% bonus. Great merger progress! Peter

Congrats, Peter! This has been going on for the better part of the last year, though!

The bad news is that you're only getting a 50% bonus as of March 3rd.

Hmmm why was I just 2P and Silver for over 6 weeks then? Missed out on some mileage bonuses... Oh well.

LOL, didn't see that. Oh well. Figure I will be Plat by March and 1k by May.

Call OnePass Service Ctr or MileagePlus and they *should* credit you for the missing miles.

Whenever I think that I'm pleased by the UA/CO merger, I'm reminded of this serious devaluation in earning ability. After March 3rd, my UA flights will likely be limited to those with a nonstop, or those where UA is cheapest.
