I travel for business all the time. My company provides a credit card to the hotel to cover my hotel expenses. They prefer to handle hotel expenses this way. My company uses this method of billing all the time. I've never had a problem accumulating points at any other chain (Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, Best Western). I recently had an assignment on Long Island. My company booked me at the Holiday Inn Express in Lynbrook. I was told by the hotel that I would not be granted points for my stay because a company credit card was used instead of a personla credit card. I called Priority Club and they told me that this is the way they handle reward points! I stayed at the hotel for over two months with no reward points. I would have changed hotels immediately but there was no other hotel available in the area that had rooms available for the period of my stay. I will never stay at a Priority club property again. I am letting all of my colleagues know about this ridiculous policy.
