If you are looking for a "nicer" restaurant in Manhattan with a logical wine list that doesnt require a second mortgage... I suggest you consider having a meal at Print. Located in Hells Kitchen (near the auto dealerships), this place will not dissapoint.

I organized a business dinner there and was very impressed with both the food and the service... great ambiance also, and an amazing rooftop bar at the hotel where this place is located - great for apres dinner.....

It's interesting that they don't mention that it's in the Ink 48 hotel. I was at a business dinner party there on the roof last week and had a great time. And some of the mini loft rooms in the hotel have amazing views!

I've found the Kimptons to uniformly have some of the best "hotel" restaurants in the industry. Just one more reason I try to stay at Kimpton properties whenever the budget allows. Free wi-fi for members, "raid the mini bar" benefits, comfortable, quirky rooms, goldfish on demand (the swimming kind), yummy restaurants and active welcoming bars. What's not to like?

Print looks expensive. Pasta or chicken for ~$28? Maybe that's cheap to the tourists. And to pay that in the far west side?

I noticed this on eater.com today:

"Press Lounge, the rooftop bar attached to Print restaurant in Hell's Kitchen, is launching a new oyster bar. It opened this week. [EaterWire]"
