Title says it all. I see a premium economy selection on the drop down, didn't used to be there. AA currently does not have it and I've not seen any announcements that it is coming to the 738s. :).

No glitch, we added it because AA.com is now selling Premium Economy tickets on BA codeshares, DFW-LHR for example. So if you purchase one of those tickets, you can now pull up the PE Seat Map with the AA flight number instead of having to figure out the BA flight number for the flight.

Well.. Ok then. But AFAIK.. AA is NOT selling 738 flugs to Europe. Mad Dog availability is even less. So why do I see Premium Econ seatmaps on those domestics?

The cabin selection is programed per airline, not per flight/aircraft. The PE cabin has a class code of W, which in other cases will either just show the Economy cabin (if W is an Economy fare class on the flight) or an error message.
