Thanks for the update. SFO security is a royal PITA but PreCheck will make it tolerable.

Only if they don't shut it down after 4PM, which seems to be their habit with the premium security line near the intl side. It's a PITA to check in on the left, find out the security line is closed, and have to walk all the way to the right. I've started to check in online and just go through the international G gates checkpoint instead.

Has anyone experienced the CLEAR/PreCheck integration at MCO or DEN? Is it worth keeping both?

Folks are reporting PreCheck is now working for the UA gates at MCO, so no one reason to have both for there at least

Do you think it will be ready for SMDIV departure?

Why not? CLEAR still lets you skip the line to get to PreCheck. That is, if there's any line FOR PreCheck.

I've never seen more than 3-4 people in line for PRE, and that's including at EWR where things are generally a mess.

At SFO from reading how it will be set up the Clear terminals will remain where the old Premium lanes were meaning no PreCheck lanes down that way. So, you have to choose one or the other methods before you get in a line.

The UA Terminal at SFO is so busy.. I am happy to hear that there are Pre Check lanes now. I have had pretty good acceptance with Domestic Travel only. Any leg that involves International and no dice. Looking forward to trying my luck at SFO in a few weeks.. Thanks and Safe Travels

Went through on a redeye last Saturday night, and PreCheck was closed. TSA guy told me it closed at 6PM. Since we were with our kids, they sent all 4 of us through the WTMD. Even though we did have to do the laptop/shoes removal, it was still less than 5 minutes to get through.
