What difference does it make? It's a website, not a camera phone. My laptop sees me naked all the time and doesn't tell.

not always true.... there was a story on the news here that a local school was in trouble because they somehow turned on student's webcams at home to see if they were studying....

It would be much better for content building on MP if you were to ask your questions by posting them in the DL forum here, where I'm sure that many people, including me, will be pleased to help you if we can.

Hmmm...they might've been turned on by the students' webcams but there's no way for them to turn them on remotely. That's probably snopes/urban legend material.

    Thanks! ;)

Don't be so sure. Google "webcam student laptop". The school says it just snapped still pix, not video.

    Overview of the story: http://boingboing.net/2010/02/17/school-used-student.html
    and http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-6223385-504083.html

    The school's initial response: http://www.lmsd.org/sections/news/default.php?t=today&p=lmsd_anno&id=1143

when my house was for sale last year, I was not fully clothed and was in my office (home office on the other side of the house from my master bedroom), the doorbell rang, and rang and rang.... I had an old blanket in the office and put it around me to go answer the door... it was the elderly father of the husband/wife that eventually bought my house.... :D

After living in Guyana and Taiwan, really warm areas, got into the habit of removing my pants and living life in my underwear. It was a shock to my wife after we got married but she is used to it now.
Working at home just doesn't work well for me anymore.
