Is it possible to have the post reply button or create thread buttons grey'd out and unclickable if the timer has not expired yet? The extra clicks for trying to reply to too many posts and being 1 second early is a bit much, especially on a mobile browser.

I'd just like to know why we are timed in-between posts.

I think I understand it in an anti spam point of view.

But i'd really rather the ability to click post reply was removed until the timer expired.

An interesting suggestion, I'll add it to the master list to be considered.

kwai, it has to do with flood control, this prevents a spam bot or a user from posting lots of messages in a short period of time.

Having experienced this frequently in the OneWorld MegaDo contest, I would also kindly suggest that, if possible, a little timer in that button be used while it's greyed out. I think Firefox does this when prepping for a download too.
