Thought this may be of interest to AC fliers going through FRA
... more at the link above ...
AC now has its own lounge in the B section where their flights depart from. It used to be the senator business class lounge.
Has the lounge actually opened yet? Last I heard it was still under construction and not planned to open until later this year?
I would think the new LH lounges may be of use for onward connecting passengers on LH also coming in on AC?
I sure didn't see an AC lounge there a few weeks ago. Then again, I have no issues with the Senator lounge in concourse B.
If it hasn't opened yet it soon will. AC has taken over the space from LH.
The Senator lounge space? Or Business lounge space? (I'm thinking there were two LH Business lounges.)
Supposedly to open in Dec. '12 or January '13.
It was the old Senator lounge around the corner from ticketing. It did have a nice view of the runway and apron- and also had 8 showers unless they ripped them out (doubtful). It will be nice when it opens as even with the new lounges there is still a lot of pressure on FRA lounges overall for * alliance. Such a shame they closed the wonderful red carpet club in the bowels of C a few years ago
The words "wonderful" and "Red Carpet Club" in the same sentence -- I never thought I would see the day!
(Admittedly the UA lounge at NRT is all right, but still a notch or two below the NH lounges at the same airport.)
Wonderful+Red Carpet Club can only be inserted in the same sentence together with the click-Sarcasm logo
To be fair- the First section at HKG is one of the better choices at HKG for a Star Alliance lounge when the TG option is closed.
couldnt find the MLL @ FRA....ended up in the Senator Lounge
