    I. Krebs is spot on most of the time, I check his site a few times a week for good analysis
    2. That comment shows how out of touch the company's spokesperson is, hopefully their IT knows more. If someone is pulling number, expiration date, 3-digit card verification code, as well as the cardholder’s name, address and phone number, its much more likely that they are either inside a payment device or system, not capturing random internet traffic between a customer and the website. SSL would also come into play with the encrypted outbound connection with the payment processor.

I like him because he's dirty... he'll actually be way down inside places like rescator, seeing what's for sale, then works his way backwards from there to figure out where the data breaches are.

His stuff is scary though... it used to be ATM skimmers and big retail store / payment processor data breaches, but now it looks like everything is getting hacked, even small things like point of sale terminals at parking garages.

Sometimes you'll see a funky story as well, like when Seleznev was arrested (basically kidnapped) at MLE and flown to Guam by Secret Service agents.

Yes you don't see him regurgitating press releases...
