MSNBC: Possible flare narrowly misses plane in Philadelphia
" Possible " and they found no evidence.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure a flare leaves behind much evidence...
Unless they're visible on the radar? (doubt it)
Well it depends on the jackass that did it... A single use signal flare comes in a type of disposable tube that you aim up and fire... I suppose if you just discard the tube neaby that's evidence.
If you use a 12 gauge flare pistol it's possible to eject the casing too, so it's possible to leave behind some sort of evidence.
My guess is the cops went to the general vicinity of where it happened and looked around and couldn't find anything, but seriously someone could have done this from a moving car and would be very difficult to find.
