Pilots and flight attendants called a 24 hour strike scheduled for Alitalia/Air One for Feb. 14.
That has been reduced to a four hour strike, from 12:00 to 16:00.
Note that strikes often get called off or postponed, so keep an eye on this site for updates:

I am flying to MXP on March 4-7, albeit on CO, but I hope the strike subsides by then...

This type of strike is typically, as noted, for a number of hours- not days. So you are safe from this one- others who knows? :)

if you're on CO it won't affect you at all. Also, as Travelsig pointed out, Italian strikes are not like strikes in the US- here we go out for days, weeks, months. There they do 4 or 8 hour strikes, occasionally 24 hour, very tightly targeted. The concept is that a 4 hour strike maximizes disruption/costs to the company while minimizing inconvenience/cost to the strikers. It maximizes their ROI.

Yeah, my flights would be fine, but the airport would be a mess :p

Glad to know that Italian strikes are short and to the point that gets the message across to the company's executives unlike in America

An Italian airport a mess? Shocking!

Everyone is so disciplined about standing quietly in neat straight lines and doing everything in good turn, while speaking in soft tones. And all the employees go out of their way to be proactive and helpful.
