I'm considering paying for Hertz Platinum in 2015. The only thing actually holding me back from committing is that most of my rentals are at SEATAC. It's a pretty efficient system there for an off-airport rental center.

Does anyone have experience with Platinum service at SEATAC? How reliably do they pick you up (and where do they do so? Door 5?) and how easy is the returning-the-car experience there?

    Thanks!

You can see my original notes here:

I've had half a dozen experiences with rentals there. Each time, I've called when I landed and they asked me what door I would be at. I just memorized a random door number and tell them that. They've always been at the curb no more than 5 minutes after I got outside.

On return, I call when I'm about 15-20 mins away from the airport and ask someone to meet me on the departure level. They've been there every time prior to my arrival. They e-mail me a final receipt later in the day.

It's WAY better than trucking to the rental facility. Easily saves me 30 minutes a trip. Probably closer to an hour.

    Thanks, @Pizzaman!

Anyone else have any positive or negative Hertz Platinum experiences (anywhere, not just SEATAC) to help me commit or walk away?

LAS is another great station. MIA, DEN, SFO all very helpful.

PS: Why won't the Platinum line give you the Seatac phone number?
