Singapore Airlines gave a special tour to invited media guests to their training facility located in Singapore and I felt privileged to be among the group. We were able to experience the flight attendant safety training, cabin crew procedure training and the flight simulators.

I'm surprised that they would hire SQ girls who need to be trained in this. If so, aren't they afraid that the training won't "take" permanently and there will be a problem? Or can they later be fired over stuff like this?

 

its part of the training program, to understand their/different skin complexities, how to put make up to maximize their professional appeal (including posturing etc).............

as i recall, they are bonded for 4 years....... then its up to them to stay or move on............. many of the SQ Girl qualities (in the past) are viewed by other employers in the customer service/hospitality industry as being very valuable.......
