Phantom Message from Randy Petersen

    Why do I keep getting push notifications from Milepoint that Randy Petersen has sent me a new message when in fact he has not?

    Hi RNE,

    You may want to post this in the Support forum. It sounds like you might be on an iOS device...you may want to check out this thread in that forum, too!

    I had a conversation from Randy recently that could have been sent to lots and lots of people, but I didn't notice any notifications of it beyond the little red banner at my inbox in the upper right corner of my MP pages.

    There are already a number of threads on this in the forum ... I suggest you turn off (as I mentioned in one of those threads) the View on Lock Screen option on the Notifications page for the app if that is what you are using and that should take care of many of the notifications ...

    Yeah, I started getting notices over and over again after getting the Flightfox message. Shutting off notifications solved the issue.

    Sorry guys and gals for the annoyance. Our app developer said the problem was with their backend (so no update needed with the app itself) and they're fixing it today. People with Android phones should already have the fix and iOS is right behind it.
