personal touch unexpected but appreciated

    Traveling with my wife and kids yesterday (6yo & 4yo) from Seattle to.tokyo in BF in UA 875

    FA's were awesome, extremely attentive and made sure the kids were comfortable and happy.

    About two hours out from.narita, purser hands me a biz card with a handwritten note on it.

    It was the pilots card and his note was simple but impactful...

    "Dear Mr and Mrs xxx,
    Thank you for being such loyal customers!! We greatly appreciate your business..."

    I'm not sure if publishing the pilots name is appropriate but I'm sending him.a personal note to thank HIM and his crew.

    I'm no-one special...Just another frequent flyer but a gesture as simple as this was so out of the blue and so refreshing at the same time

    I think.it's, awesome and despite all the griping around here from time to time, I hope enough people also tell you and your team the same, thing...we appreciate what you do and rely upon you every day so thank you right back at you!!!
