  1. When does the one in London open?
and it looks like Beijing is being renovated
To offer guests the highest levels of experiential luxury, The Peninsula Beijing will be totally transformed and undergo a landmark room enhancement programme from June 2015 to late 2016. The enhancement will be split into two distinct phases to ensure that disturbance is kept to an absolute minimum, however, there is the possibility of some noise disturbance.

During the renovation, certain floors and restaurant outlets will be closed, including the swimming pool and fitness center. Alternative arrangements will be offered. Rooms will be reconfigured and will offer The Peninsula’s celebrated cutting-edge in-room technology, and there will also be some exciting new F+B concepts opening 2015 year end.

The comfort, security and well-being of our guests are of paramount importance to us during this exciting chapter in the hotel’s 25-year history.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused to your travel plans.

So far we've stayed at the Peninsula Tokyo for 2nights/3days a few years ago, but we do hope to add more Peninsula hotels in our future, more recently we enjoyed our lunch at the Peninsula Bangkok in July 2014.

On the same visit to Tokyo, we've stayed at the Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, MO and the Peninsula. We hope to visit Tokyo again in our future, but we might try some other hotels incl. The Imperial or the Park Hotel Tokyo / Member of Design Hotels / we will have to wait and see.
