    Hi

I redeemed some avios for 2 World Traveller tickets to Dubai from LHR at a discounted rate of avios ( there was a deal earlier this year)

I have now been offered to upgrade for £149 each - it looks like a good deal, am I missing something?

Upgrade from Economy to Business or to Premium Economy?

I think that's the standard price for these fixed price special offer upgrades to WT+. You have to remember that:-
    • You will get no miles/Avios or tier points either for your original booking or for the upgrade, because the underlying booking is an award redemption.
    • The upgrade portion is probably no changes, no refunds (check the blurb that comes with the offer); but the underlying booking should retain its original conditions (again, check the blurb) - this should mean that if you need to change the booking after doing the upgrade, you will just forfeit the money paid for the upgrade.
