    If you like the old school feel of cobblestones, you might want to head out to Rome before it's too late... :)

    Obviously using modern construction materials -- or paving with asphalt altogether -- is easier for long-term maintenance, but there's something to be said for losing the old stuff, even if it's replaced with newer cobblestones.
