Traveling to USA later this month. My Canadian passport expires in May and I also have NEXUS. Should I be concerned about being refused entry to the USA ?

No. You should only be worried if your passport is no longer valid. Just make sure you're able to show return tickets/plans.

And I would renew it sooner than later, especially since the Canadian Passports that are issued now are good for 10 years.

Also keep in mind, there are countries and airlines that require both two clean pages and at least six months of validity. The U.S. isn't one of those countries, but I'd, again, renew it sooner than later.

Keep in mind that NEXUS requires you to have a valid passport kept on file in their GOES system.

Better safe than sorry. Sometimes US officers are picky about it.
