The water had not been boiled long enough.

Some like their nut warmed, and some like their water boiled a bit.

These FA need to get it right., compliance with regulations can go both ways.

Next thing you know they will start protesting, and stealing things.

Air rage is a growing phenomenon, it's all about expectation these days. Low cost vs. high cost, high cost vs. lower standards, lower standards vs. higher expectations by passengers.

We have it in the cities, it is called Lack of Respect, and then the flames are faned,

And the thiefs take over, they do deserve more, cause others did not build that.

Wait till the Illegals get Rights, and find out they have Social Security.

Modern times' stressfulness? Maybe, but I believe it's the same as ever was ... now we have cell phones with cameras to record and post it on social media instantaneously!

Huh? Were you on that flight? Where in that article did you see anything about water being boiled or too hot ( or not)
or should I assume you were making a singularly unsuccessful attempt at being funny?
And while you at it explain how water can be boiled " a bit"

And finally I don't think MP has OMNI just so please spare us the quasi-political commentary.

Wife is Asian, and they always want the water hot, to drink it,

According to her it can be boiled flat, so their must be a thing about over boiling water, our hot pot shuts off, as the warer starts to boil.

She does not agree with many thing over here, but she is doing fine within the system.

And yes many people do seem to be expressing their opinions lately, including a politician

I thought it's impossible to bring water to a full boil on any plane when it's in the air at a regular cruise altitude, something to do with the atmospheric pressure being different when flying and that won`t let water boil. If so, and whether or not the passenger was aware of that fact, taking out his displeasure on the FA by throwing scalding water on her should have gotten him jailed for assault, IMO.

Actually the report I read said the dispute started whe the lady and her boyfriend were not seated together, then he threatened to bomb the plane and she talked about killing herself. Then the water incident happened even after fa seated them together. Who knows what really happened except an EXTREME breakdown of common sense and minimal courtesy :(

His first threat should have been the signal to restrain him immediately and land ASAP to offload them both. An aircraft in flight is not the place to placate those who insist upon disrupting it, either with threats or their actions. Allowing the disruption to continue brought about the tossing of the hot water and noodles at the FA. If the report is accurate, it should never had gotten that far.
