Thought it might be useful for us to share our experiences with the length of time it takes for AE partners to post mileage to our accounts. This question often pops up, so a dedicated thread will be easier to reference than searching out individual partner threads.

So here goes a few based on my travel/purchases over the past 6-months:

    Airlines
AC between 3 and 4 days
    LH within 3 days
    UA within 2 days
    TK within a week
    TP within a week
    BD within 3 days
Elite Tier Bonuses post on Sundays
eUpgrade Credits post within 2 days of threshold flight posting

    Others
AE Online Shopping within a week
    Sobeys within 2 days
    Nestlé within a week
    Home Hardware within a week
    Inflight Duty Free never

I notice with UA that if the flight info changes the miles don't most automatically. On a recent trip the last segment was changed to a new flight. All segments posted within 2-3 days except the last one. Had to manually submit for it.

I have not had this problem but now that you mention it, time for an audit.

    CA in about 5 days.

Although lately, AC themselves is slow at post or not posting at all (I have a seperate thread about this).

Waiting on UA for over 2 weeks now. Submitted it on-line, but as of now no posting. I would mail it, but we're in the middle of a postal strike. Good thing it is only 500 miles

  12. Still waiting for an OS flight from over a week ago...

Good point about the duty free - I need to follow up on last month's purchase.

I noticed that I finally received a posting of 500 AE miles under the "Duty Free" label (hidden away in March postings). I had emailed the Inflight Duty Free people about two weeks ago, identifying my pre-order as well as noting I had used an AE cert on another occasion, both in February or March. I was expecting about 350 AE miles, but guess they just gave me a courtesy number. I have another pre-order on a flight later this week, so will be interested in seeing if that one posts without any prompting!

    Adding another:

9M (Central Mountain Air) outbound from Vancouver: basically never, unless you ask the Central Mountain gate agents to reprint your boarding pass **at the gate**. AC's kiosks **always** list Central Mountain segments by 9M flight number alone, lacking the crucial notation "sold as AC 93xx". Without that 'sold as' note, you have no chance of ever seeing any points from that segment.

Oddly enough, coming inbound into Vancouver, staring from a Central Mountain check-in desk, this is not a problem. Those missing 500-point segments add up rapidly.

TK seems to now be taking just three days to post. Flew July 2nd, posted yesterday July 5th. Flew July 3rd, posted overnight July 6th. I can also confirm Comfort Class, booking classes A and U, now earn 110%.
