    As I first reported in this article on September 28, 2014, Aerion Supersonic has partnered with Airbus Group in an agreement to collaborate on technologies to advance the development and commercialization of the Aerion AS2 — to become the first supersonic business jet in the world capable of transporting up to 12 passengers — for the possibility of high-performance supersonic flights in the future, according to this press release. Not to be outdone, Lockheed Martin is currently working with NASA — the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States — on a design for a supersonic aircraft which could carry a maximum of 80 passengers called...
