Park Hyatt New York has anyone been getting really bad wrap on flyertalk
I had wanted to stay there during a NYC trip in September, but I wasn't willing to pay about a thousand dollars a night plus tax for a standard room with no chance of either using a Diamond Suite Upgrade or getting some sort of an upgrade at check in.
It looks nice, and it sounds like the service is good, but it still is a lot of money for a place to sleep.
Think of the room service
luxury hotel it is though but wondering if Four Seasons, http://www.baccarathotels.com/ or even Ritz Carlton would be better or even the Greenwich
oh that's embarrassing they are trying to make a prestige property but why alienate the people that use your properties the most. Can you do this at other Parks
Of course you can use Diamond Suite Upgrades at Park Hyatts. Otherwise, a Diamond should be given the best available (non suite) room available at check in at a Park Hyatt, like at other Hyatt family hotels.
