I was at SPG.com, looking for a hotel to stay at in SF and noticed that one of the hotels I've been wanting to return to (I stayed at it quite a few times when it was the Argent & once as the Westin) has now been sold and now called the Park Central, San Francisco but is still a Starwood affiliated hotel.

From what I gather, a Starwood affiliated but not branded hotel, guests still receive the SPG points/stays but what else has changed? Is the "Heavenly" amenties no longer called that? (I Can't imagine the hotel switched out beds/shower heads ...) or what about the White Tea stuff?

    Has anyone stayed recently?

Different bathroom amenities. Otherwise, you wouldn't notice anything has changed.

Is it bookable on spg.com beyond January 1? It wasn't when I last looked, and there have been rumors that the hotel is leaving Starwood.
