In the city of love in September for a few days, since Hilton only have a few hotels in the area, which one would be the best?

Check out the Hilton Arc de Triomphe, this has the best location for Paris of any Hilton hotel in the city of light! [ Ideal for burning some HH points, while overnight rates can be very high ]

There is also the Hilton La Defense Paris in the modern business district, but it is easy to get around from there too.

For Versailles, there is the famous Trianon Palace, A Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, a great historic hotel and ideal for two nights while visiting the Versailles Palace and Gardens!

Safe travels and enjoy Paris! Will you be paying cash or are you using HH points?

    :)

Ugg thanks for the quick reply. Most likely paying with cash, will only be in Paris for four days before heading to London, Iceland, and New York.

Looked at the Wardolf, but not too sure if it's close or easy enough to get back into Paris ( plus the rate is cheaper than the Hilton brands! )

My vote is for Arc de Triumphe! Stayed there in December and it was fantastic!

Agree with uggboy. The Hilton Arc de Triomphe would be the best choice and really the only Hilton choice in Paris. La Defense is a bit too far from the main tourist areas. Versailles is even further.

I would go with this Paris Hilton, point redemption on her has to be low but then again you might catch bed bugs or worse staying at this Hilton.

Stayed at La Defense in January. As previously stated, a bit far out from city center but the subway and train are right there making it easy. Great staff. Wife and I enjoyed our stay there.

The metro from La Defense to central Paris is about 20 minutes from boarding the subway to getting off. If you tend to go out from the hotel in the morning and come back in the evening, this hotel works fine. If you want to pop back to the hotel several times per day, it will seem inconvenient. Jet lag may influence this - you might be tired mid-day and want to go back to the hotel for a bit. If paying cash and not OPM, this is the best bet.
