  1. I love this board I am looking for great french dining that is not Michelin Starred. Up to 80 euros for lunch and 130 Euros for dinner. I already have my Michelin stars sorted. I would love some great more local dining

Last year, I asked some folks who used to do a "guestaurant" in Paris for a place to dine (they now have their own place called Verjus). They recommended a place called Semilla. It's a small, modern inexpensive place on the Left Bank.

I go to Paris to eat.:) One of my favorite dishes is Duck confit and having had it many places, my first choice would be
    Josephine "Chez Dumonet"
117,rue du Cherche-Midi, Paris, France (Luxembourg)

Traditional French food in a classic setting. Also not to be missed is the Grand Marnier Souffle. Portions here are huge so go with a big appetite. Reservations about a week in advance are also advised. I love to sit in the alcove in the back facing the kitchen. Bon Appetit!

I'll fill in details of dinner @ Jules Verne (& elsewhere) once I get to my notes.

The three food items that I enjoyed the most in France:

Bulots (whelks) - incredible, had not had them before, I will be searching for these in the U.S. now that I'm home

Ouefs en Murette (eggs in red wine sauce) - poached eggs in a veal/beef stock/red wine reduction that contains mushrooms, peal onions, chopped bacon

Époisses cheese from the Burgundy region - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Époisses_de_Bourgogne
