    LINK.

Seen on TB, this takes effect Feb 1.

Will be joining AA/RJ/AY and future OW member AB.

    Kind of makes sense right?

I mean T8 is amazing and LAN is going to become huge for OW after this merger is finalized.

    I am pumped!!!!

Certainly does make sense, seems OW is doing a bit to tighten up their alliance with a lot of things lately.

I like T8 but it's not my favorite. Maybe I just need to spend more time there, most of my flights go through DFW/ORD/LAX.

LAN's merger would be great for OW, though nothing is final. All signs seem to be pointing toward OW entry, but until they announce it I don't want to count any chickens....

So I'm guessing that LA J customers would use the Admirals Club and not Oasis? Flying in February.

Not EXP, so no access to the FL, but it's great for OW Emeralds to be able to access it now that they're T 8

Great news, in my opinion. Even though the Oasis was pretty decent, at least now OW flyers on LAN will have the option for a lounge airside. It might just be me but in my opinion the security checkpoints at T8 are also better managed than at T4.

LA J will give access just as international AA J gets access.
I am very happy about that. Once they eventually choose OW for Latam I will not be so happy to no longer have the VS lounge at JFK when traveling JJ. I do SO like that lounge. Here's hoping they do not junk JJ F too. That is another treat I very much enjoy. It will be odd to have JJ because partnering with AA only a couple of years after they threw AA over for *A.

That is true. I do not want to jump the gun. But it just seems to be the right move for all parties involved.

T8 is stellar compared to most Terminals I have experienced flying out of the NYC area. Just sayin'...

What's wrong with T8? IME, nothing. It ranks very favorably for me against a number of world-renowned airports.I have precisely zero complaints about T8. so I wonder what complaints other people have. Lounges not too great? Maybe, but that is not the terminal at fault.

Don't think anyone said anything was wrong, I just commented that I liked it but it wasn't one of my favorites.
