Has anyone tried overstock.coms entry into the hotel field?
I have not, thanks for posting, I had read a blurb somewhere and meant to post myself.
I liked the idea of this one but know nothing about Prague, I don't know if it is a good value: http://vacations.overstock.com/overstockvacations/Details?pc=88038&dc=OTC
Hmmmmmmmmm. I keep thinking about the one time I used them, returned the item and got stuck with a very large return fee. Wondering how they can screw this up!
These are some seriously low numbers.
I did read and this was in today's USA Today's Travel section Tuesday, hotels, that they quote the rate as a per person rate based on double so it may or may not be a good buy. I am not sure why they would quote rooms that way when most rooms at least in the US are based on a per room per night basis rather than a person per room per night. Usually a single will pay the same room rate as 2 persons staying in the same room at least in the US. The way they are quoting the rates may in fact be confusing to many.
