    ORD had a 21 minute power failure around 3:50 p.m. today. It hit T 2, 3, and 5.
The TSA had to reboot their systems, causing long delays. AA was affected the most, UA not very much (They're in T1).

They're trying to figure out what caused it.

What, TSA and other aspects of the facility don't have backup power supplies?

If anyone was there, please post your personal observations of the mess.

I was at T5 when the power went out last September. There were no backup power supplies. CBP just started processing documents and scurtinizing people the old fashioned way.

I just don't get it. Second busiest airport after ATL (and it probably would be the busiest if it didn't have so many cancellations) and insufficient backup power resources?

I liked it because I did not get my customary secondary.[IMG]

You mean you didn't get the free therapeutic massage?
I'd file a complaint if I were you, ask for compensation.
