As announced earlier, JAL will be switching to AA's terminal for ex-ORD flights. JAL has updated its website to provide more details including the terminal maps and location of check-in counters. Also JAL First Class Lounge and Sakura Lounge will be closed as a result of the move as reported earlier.

JAL will switch to ORD AA Flagship Lounge and AC from March 27 2011

Arrival will still be at T5 as there is where the immigration and customs counters are. For more info, you can visit JAL website: http://www.jal.co.jp/en/inter/airport/america/ord/ord_00b.html

Below are the terminal maps (from JAL website)

Note that the main checkpoint shown in the map can get really slow and crowded, even the elite line. There is a little used checkpoint leading to the "L" gates which can be much faster. At ORD, once you're past security, you can walk freely between T1, T2 and T3.
The gate at the left (Delta elite line) for T2 is, AFAIK, the only one at those three terminals without a nude-o-scope (but I haven't been through the L gate since DL moved to T2, so I 'm not sure about that one).

Okay, this kinda SUCKS. The food in the AC is not free, it's downright expensive. How do they compensate for that?

Also, since I'll be traveling with 2 young kids in C cabin April 12 and 28, how will this effect my transit in Chicago? (NGO-NRT-ORD-CLT) Will we go to Admiral or Flagship?

AC as described here: JAL will switch to ORD AA Flagship Lounge and AC from March 27 2011

No change for your outbound but for inbound you don't have to leave AA's terminal and will board your ORD-NRT flight from there.

Why? Cuz AC has no free food/wi-fi?
