Is This Your Opportunity to Help Change United Airlines With New CEO?
You most likely have already heard about the recent sudden change in executive management at United Airlines; and 8MiHi sees the appointment of a new chief executive officer as an opportunity to help bring about positive changes at the beleaguered airline. What would be your suggestions and recommendations to help improve United Airlines to become a better airline — in addition to designing a better web site which prices airfares properly, perhaps?

Perhaps American Airlines Could Use Your Input As Well With Its Issues?
Enough picking on United Airlines — for now, anyway — as American Airlines has had its own issues. In a week where the interline pact with Delta Air Lines ended and the wrong airplane was accidentally used to fly passengers to Hawaii, flights nationwide were temporarily grounded due to technology issues. Fortunately, that is not stopping Pfisterfamily from attempting to earn Executive Platinum status for next year.

Better Routing — But For Fewer Miles?
Due to a schedule change, brucewil actually scored a better routing home than the one on which he was originally scheduled — but had he booked the new routing, it would have cost him 70,000 miles instead of the 80,000 miles which he initially redeemed for the itinerary of his trip. Despite the better routing, is he still entitled to the difference of 10,000 miles as a refund?

The Five Most Dreaded Words in Hotel Bookings — Well...Actually Six Words
What are the five most dreaded words in hotel bookings which slalom found out could potentially cost hundreds of dollars? In addition, slalom found out two more dreaded words in hotel bookings to add to those five — really, six — words; but who’s counting?

United Airlines Family Day in San Francisco: Would You Like to Attend?
For the tenth year, United Airlines will be hosting its popular annual Family Day Open House for its employees and their families at its maintenance center at San Francisco International Airport on Sunday, October 11, 2015. Included in the event will be featured guests; all types of aircraft on display; an airplane pulling contest; maintenance facility tours — and more, believe it or not. Confirmations of attendance are expected to be sent out by September 25; so if you would like to attend, you only have a few days left to complete a survey.

Honoring Those Who Lost Their Lives in the September 11, 2001 Terror Attacks
It has been a week since the 14th anniversary of the day terror invaded the United States — but did you know that the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center Foundation, Inc. is a Kula Cause under the Milepoint Cares initiative? You can donate funds to this worthwhile cause, which honors the thousands of lives lost in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993; the endurance of those who survived; the courage of those who risked their lives to save others; and the compassion of all who supported us in our darkest hours.
