At LAX, I noticed that the they had added hash marks for 737-800/737-900 nose-gear at the United gates (T7).

Considering that CO (T6) and UA (T6, T7, T8) are next door neighbors at LAX and both have gates at T6, I wouldn't be surprised if LAX is one of the first airports to be fully integrated.

Neat find! I've been waiting to see Q400 marks at the ALB UA gates as these birds will be doing ALB-IAD. Thanks for the pic!

Nice touch that the bird at the gate is still in Battleship Gray.

With the tire marks and such on the paint they don't actually look all that new. Are you sure the marks weren't there previously? Many airports have gates marked for all the commonly operated aircraft types. And some airports even have legacy markings still on the ground. JFK is particularly fun that way.

Even nicer that the nose cone doesn't match the rest of the fuselage.

Clearly grounds to demand compensation, and to consider switching allegiance to a different airline.

They are new. While LAX has a few terminals with shared carriers and hence the need to accommodate various different aircraft types flown by different carriers, T7 is 100% United metal.

Only a FT'er would have such an attention to detail!!! :p

BTW....I think that UA is completely out of T-6 now, with the exception now of the CO metal flights.

Somebody has to do it ;)

Last time I flew out of T6 was in February, and they have closed some of the lower numbered gates for construction, so it could be that UA metal has moved out of T6.
