    My favorite city, too. It reminds me of DC in that it's urban without being overly dense and full of skyscrapers. I loved going out to take a nap along the Danube in the summer.

    Indeed, a great and very elegant city, many famous hotels, superb architecture and the cafe lifestyle!:)

    While I favor Berlin because of its mix of old and new (and its incomparable musical options), Vienna is my #2. I love the neighborhood life, great for getting away from the tourist track and blending in with the locals. And nearby Bratislava offers a great day trip diversion as well.
