Anyone have (or have a link to) the award chart for OLD (non-expiring) miles, including the classes for upgrade and the classes they book into?

I am also getting the "Private Photo" message. And I had to create a flickr account just to get there.

Just reporting that I had no problem seeing the two images in the Flickr account mentioned in post # 2 above ... My wife was just asking a couple of days ago if we knew what awards we could use thos miles for :)

    Working for me, too. Thanks.

The Concorde awards do take us back, don't they?

Those were the days, my friend,
    We thought they'd never end.

  11. Help needed from group! I am trying to use 'miles that do not expire' award - 181,000. My understanding from a long time ago was that these miles were grandfathered in the old award structure (thank you for the copy in an earlier post). I am getting conflicting answers when I call American. Also, QA used to be included. Rental car and hotel also. Any idea how to use these miles today? I am looking at the 175,000 to Japan which is two first class round trip tickets. Any advice would be appreciated!

Call the EXP desk. Even some of those agents may not be aware of the old awards. If they don't, give them the award code. IIRC the starfile for the award gives the details.

    He might not be EXP.

I'm completely unfamiliar with these miles, but I think the old FF adage of "hang up and try again" will serve you best when trying to find someone who knows what to do with them.

Agree on the second part. As to the first, the tag line on Travel2Food's post says he is Exec Plat.

Yup, except Travel2Food's post started and ended in Feb and the poster we've been replying too is Arbek, who revived the thread and posted today. ;)

  16. Thank you for your input. It took just the right agent who knew the rules. All is well!
