Ohio- Governor John Kasich, who once criticized former Governor Ted Strickland for how much he used the state airplane, is now under fire for using the plane even more.
A new report says that in his first six months in office Kasich has taken 38 trips on state planes at a cost of more than 53-thousand dollars.
State Representative Matt Lunday says, "we are asking sacrifices to be made by school districts, sacrifices to made by local government we need to be making those sacrifices too and we can't be overusing state property."
The report says Kasich has also used the state plane on four out state trips, including Washington and New York City.
