I tried signing up for a Hyatt account earlier today. I had issues, and when I sent Hyatt an e mail, they told me I had an account set up. They responded quickly. When I logged on to my account, I saw that I had 2130 points from....
    July 1999.

14 years, and the points didn't expire.

Hyatt just made a new friend.

I hadn't used IHG in a decade and indeed my old points were still there, too. No matter how small, nice to find. :)

...maybe they'll still let you redeem off the 1999 award chart? ;)

I was going to transfer my Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt for a 2 night stay (at 12,000 points per night) at Hyatt House in White Plains. I just saved 2000 points.

This property offers free breakfast and free wi-fi.

This was a Priceline stay. ;) Some of you may remember that everyone was getting the Hyatt West Hollywood at $55 per night.
