Police and airline employees have prevented a pilot they suspected of being drunk from boarding a flight in Omaha.

Omaha television station KETV ( ) says the Frontier flight to Milwaukee was scheduled to leave at 6 a.m. Thursday from Eppley Airfield. The plane was still on the ground three hours later while another pilot was being brought in.

The passengers waited in the terminal during the delay.

The pilot has not been arrested.

Omaha Airport Authority officials declined to comment further and referred questions to Frontier Airlines.
